The Jais Sledder, also called the Jebel Jais Sledder, offers a thrilling ride in Ras Al Khaimah. Situated on a low-slung track, you can reach speeds up to 40 kilometers per hour as you zoom down the Hajar mountain range.

This adventure provides stunning panoramic views of the coastline, making the experience even more memorable. The proximity to the ground makes the speed feel much faster, adding to the excitement. Driver requirements:

At least 135 cm tall.
Minimum of 10 years old.
Must be physically capable of maintaining a seated position and using safety restraints.
Ability to follow all verbal and written directions.
Ability to visually recognize the sled in front of them to maintain a safe following distance.
Ability to operate brake levers to control the sled’s speed.
The combined weight of the riders (maximum of two) per sled cannot exceed 150 kg.

Passenger requirements:

Minimum of 3 years old.
Passengers should be capable of holding onto the front handle while the sled is in motion.
The combined weight of the riders (maximum of two) per sled cannot exceed 150 kg.

What to bring:

Please bring with you your booking confirmation and a valid proof of identity.
Participants must wear sports shoes, close-toed flat shoes (sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not allowed.
Comfortable attire with no loose clothing (eg. scarves). It is mandatory to wear flat shoes in order to take the ride.

Weather conditions

We reserve the right to cancel the rides or make any operational changes considered necessary for safety or operational concerns. The weather in Ras Al Khaimah is usually consistent, but there can be rare sand or rainstorms.

Recording your experience

Whilst it is prohibited to carry your mobile phone or camera on the ride, you can hire a camera from the team on site and purchase your video.

In order to get to the destination, you need to drive 30 km to the top of Jebel Jais Mountain. The road is easily accessible by car. Once you arrive at the top of the mountain, drive to the Zipline Parking as it is shown on your booking confirmation.

When you reach the spot, you will see an information center where you need to check your reservation details. Be advised to print or download the instructions, directions, and map.
